Skye and her husband, Rufus, were honored at The Angel Ball 2025 and made a significant investment in the Foundation’s mission by fully funding two research grants through their $500,000 gift. Skye joins the Board during a milestone year, marking 30 years since the Foundation’s founding. Her insight, enthusiasm, and deep connection to the mission will help advance Gabrielle’s legacy and strengthen the Foundation’s role as a leading supporter of innovative blood cancer research.

Our Founder Denise Rich remarked, “Dr. Stephen Nimer, our Medical Advisory Board Chairman, and I are honored to welcome Skye to the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation family. My daughter Gabrielle would have loved Skye and would have been truly impressed by her kindness, authenticity, and commitment to making a difference.”

Skye shared, “Getting to know the Foundation more closely this past year and seeing the impact firsthand was both inspiring and moving. My husband and I are deeply aligned with and inspired by the foundation’s commitment to funding rising stars in research, an approach that is both bold and visionary and one that has clearly paid off in meaningful and lasting ways. I am very much looking forward to this next chapter together and to continuing our work in support of such an important cause.”

We look forward to working closely with Skye in the years ahead as we continue to expand our impact and accelerate progress toward better treatments and cures for blood cancers!
