Encouraging the exchange of ideas
Since 2010, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation has hosted an annual Medical Symposium which provides a forum for the nation’s leading cancer research scientists to present their work in the hematologic malignancies. This gathering encourages the exchange of ideas and the formation of scientific collaborations. Attendees are also given the opportunity to hear from a blood cancer survivor the impact that their hard work and dedication has on patients and their families.
This year’s Medical Symposium will take place in November in NYC. All current and past grantees are invited to attend, as well as a small group of donors. For more information on attendance and sponsorship, please contact Michele Keene, Associate Director of Development.
Celebrating scientific achievements
This luncheon celebrates the scientific achievements of our grantees while also offering a unique opportunity for our donors to hear first-hand how their generosity is being translated into scientific breakthroughs that offer better treatments for real people living with these diseases.
Past sponsors of the symposium include Incyte, Foundation Medicine, and Millennium Takeda.
