Welcome Cocktail Reception – Seventh Annual Medical Symposium

On Monday, November 14th, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation hosted its Welcome Cocktail Reception for the Seventh Annual Medical Symposium & Luncheon.
Foundation supporter Brenda von Schweickhardt Exline graciously opened her Manhattan home to welcome grantees who flew in from all corners of the nation. Co-Founder and President, Denise Rich thanked the assembled and spoke from the heart about the Foundation’s 20th year. Medical Advisory Board chairman Stephen Nimer, MD reminded the group that “The future of cancer research has never looked brighter!” The Foundation’s director of grants and producer of this annual event, Christa Justus invited Drs. Tony Letai and Sarah Tasian, both Foundation-funded scientists, to briefly shared their research with the gathered guests.
The delicious catering was courtesy of celebrity chef, Mary Giuliani, who also attended. Guests mingled on the penthouse terrace under a beautiful fall full moon and toasted with drinks courtesy of our in-kind sponsors Cliffton Dry, Svedka Vodka and Forever Young Wine.
