SCHOOL OF ROCK on Broadway!

Proceeds benefit Music Therapy Program at MSKCC

Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation kicked off its third Night on Broadway May 10th with a pre-show reception at The Palm West. Guests sipped libations from sponsors Tickle Water and Forever Young Wine and enjoyed delicious hors d'ouevres courtesy of the legendary Palm restaurant.

Denise Rich welcomed the crowd which included REAL HOUSEWIVES star Jill Zarin, designers Louise Camuto and Nicole Miller, Angel Ambassador Erin Zammett Ruddy, Board Members Michele and Frank Rella & many more.

More than 100 guests were treated to a special pre-show performance by star-to-be Chloe Jane (pictured above.) The 12-year-old singer/songwriter wowed the crowd with a song she wrote which appears on her debut CD titled "Rule Breaker." Chloe got the other kids dancing with her own special version of "Happy."

Guests headed down the block for a 7PM performance of the Tony-nominated musical, SCHOOL OF ROCK at the Winter Garden theatre. After the show, cast member Mamie Parris and many of the child actors joined the group in the house to share their experience of performing on Broadway eight times a week. The cast generously fielded questions and posed for pictures. View our photo album here!

The Foundation also gratefully acknowledges the producers of SCHOOL OF ROCK for donating a group of tickets so that our young friends from NYU Cancer Center, Memorial Sloan Kettering and Montefiore Children’s Hospital could enjoy a night on Broadway with us.

Proceeds from this event will support the Music Therapy program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
