National Cancer Survivor's Day & NASCAR

NASCAR VIPs #CelebrateLife with pediatric survivors at the Pocono Raceway

On June 7th, National Cancer Survivor’s Day, Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation joined forces with NASCAR to celebrate life at the Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania. Generously hosted by NASCAR CEO Brian France and his wife, Amy, survivors and their families were given the VIP treatment at this renowned regional Sprint Cup Series Race. Attendees met their favorite NASCAR drivers and stood with the team on the pit road for the National Anthem before settling in to enjoy the race from VIP seats. A host of other perks were made available by the generous staff, teams and drivers at NASCAR to mark this annual day of celebrating survivorship. Participants included two-time Foundation grantee and pediatric leukemia specialist Dr. Scott Armstrong, Co-Founder Denise Rich and others. Special thanks to Amy and Brian France, Chad Seigler and everyone at NASCAR for helping to make this truly special day possible. See NASCAR's video here and our photo album here!
