Our 4th Annual Symposium was yet another inspirational day of great science. Held on November 20th at The Loeb Boathouse at Central Park, over 50 grantees were welcomed by Medical Advisory Board Chairman Stephen D. Nimer, MD. The assembled heard 11 presentations on the latest cutting-edge advancements being made by the nation's best physician-scientists. Attendees were also treated to Medical Advisory Board member & leukemia research pioneer Dr. Carl June whose work at the University of Pennsylvania is curing people of their leukemia. Co-Founder Denise Rich beamed with pride and the entire group gave a standing ovation to AML survivor Suleika Jaouad after she shared her moving story of survivorship. Collaborative grant recipient Ross Levine, MD of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center said it was "inspirational and catalytic for all of us!" We agree 100%, Dr. Levine. Visit our photo album here.
